Augustus Prickett, a licensed Texas real estate broker and Austin native, brings a diverse background and global perspective to the Austin real estate market in both residential and commercial. As the founder of The Augustus Group, he leverages his experience—spanning industrial warehousing, on-premise beverage (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) distribution, venture capital as a Partner with Austin-based Prelude Strategies, and commercial real estate brokerage (most recently with Weitzman in Dallas)—to provide expert consultative services to clients seeking to buy, sell, or invest in Austin's dynamic property landscape.

His passion for real estate, ignited by early exposure to international architecture, is evident in his deep understanding of design and his commitment to finding unique solutions for clients. Mr. Prickett's fluency in English and Spanish, along with his proficiency in German, Russian, Arabic, and Ewe (Volta), further enhances his ability to connect with a wide range of clientele. Additionally, Mr. Prickett has lived in the US, Spain, and Ghana.

Mr. Prickett received a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business with a focus in Finance and Entrepreneurship as a Cox Distinguished MBA Scholar, ROMBA Fellow, and an Invited Participant of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Practicum as part of SMU’s Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. Mr. Prickett received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Iberian Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
